BIOGRAPHY

Leigh Dana is currently a reporter with WBNG TV Action News in Binghamton, New York. She comes from News 12 Bronx/Brooklyn where she worked as a One Man Band Reporter. She's covered stories ranging from crime to recession woes and even enterprises her own stories! In addition to working the New York City streets, Leigh also reports for Living In Media Magazine, writing stories about people on the move in her local community. Leigh had the opportunity to interview former WNBC's Meteorologist, SallyAnn Mosey, for the cover story.

Leigh's start in television began as an intern with Fox News, where she reported on several stories for air. Her hands on internship with former Anchor, E.D. Hill allowed her to write news stories for air and segment produce. Her previous internship at Fox News was with the Specials Unit. Leigh got her feet wet by assisting producers on a Princess Diana Special, hosted by Geraldo Rivera.

While in college, Leigh anchored and hosted Carpe Diem, an Emmy Award winning show on cable shown to half a million homes in New Jersey. Leigh also anchored and reported for her campus news show, Inside MSU.

Besides the news, Leigh is a musical theater expert and very knowledgeable about arts entertainment and fashion. She has been taking dance lessons since she was 1 ½ and absolutely loves seeing Broadway shows and going to the beach.

Leigh is a 2007 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Montclair State University and earned her degree in 3 ½ years. She has won several awards including the College of the Arts most prestigious award, the Talent and Academic Scholarship Award.
